Is there a Walk in my area?
Starting with Queensland, the Lift the Lid Walk is being rolled out on a national basis. Check the event locations page for the latest updates and keep coming back as we have more on boarding regularly.
How long is the Walk
8km with an optional 4km turnaround.
How strenuous is the Walk/Is the Walk difficult?
That depends of the physical health of the individual. The idea is to “walk and talk” about mental health so routes are designed to be manageable by most including those with mobility challenges.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Dogs are welcome.
Is there a cut-off time?
No. Walk at your own pace and we will see you at the finish
Is there a COVID Safe Plan?
Yes. Each Walk will follow strict COVID Safe Plan guidelines
Will I get Parking?
Whilst there can be no guarantee, the availability of parking has been considered in the planning of each Walk.
Will all the Funds raised go to charity?
Yes. 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to Australian Rotary Health for mental health research.

Alternatively, you can register at the event on the day. - credit card facilities are available.
How much does it cost?
$30 with early registration including a Lift The Lid Walk t-shirt, make sure you read the details for each event about cut off dates to get your t-shirt included. Kids 15 and under walk for free.
Can I buy additional t-shirts?
You can buy extra t-shirts for $10 but they must be ordered before the event cut off date.
Will water be provided?
Participants are encouraged to bring their own water to assist in protecting the environment.
